Cataract Analysis (Judging cataracts)

During cataract analysis, we use a camera to obtain high-resolution pictures of the eye lens - the measurement is performed with no physical contact and is completed within 2 seconds. Computational evaluation of the photographic data is projected on the screen along with its opacification. On the basis of these data, we can effectively judge the degree of lens opacification and determine whether surgerical intervention is necessary.

This type of photography-based diagnostic, known as Scheimpflug photography, allows both the cornea and anterior eye chamber to be mapped accurately.
